WILD THYME: Traditional Irish and Scottish music and Celtic fare—fiddles, guitars, and more. The artists are Ray Lequin of Chesterfield on guitar, mandolin and tin whistle; Alexis Truslow of Northampton on fiddle and mandolin; Starr Adams and Justine McCarthy of Northampton on fiddle and Deborah Stevens of Shelburne Falls on guitar.

Meet-the-artists reception at intermission. North Hall artist gallery is exhibiting the multi-faceted work of Jan Roby.

The Wild Thyme Celtic Band plays and sings Celtic folk music, drawing from the rich repertoire of Irish and Scottish traditional music and including some French Celtic music as well. Irish songs include The Wild Rover and I’ll Tell Me Ma.  “As always” said Lequin, “we invite the audience to get up and dance” to the lively Irish tunes of The Road to Lisdoonvarna and Merrily Kiss the Quaker, among others.
The five member group, which has appeared widely in the region, perform at such venues as the Brew Practitioners in Florence and the Brewmasters Tavern in Williamsburg.

All welcome.
