Mr. Ksiazek will present images of his Abstract Paintings and will discuss the form and content of the works and their relationships to American Abstract Painting Movements.
Wlodzimierz Ksiazek is an abstract painter who resides in Pawtucket RI. His website is:.
He was born and educated in Poland, receiving his MFA degree in Painting, Arts and Architecture from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. He became a US Citizen in 1988.
He has achieved international and national prominence for his encaustic abstract paintings.
He has had venues at Loughborough College of Art, Loughborough. England, Diploma Gallery, Dusseldorf, Germany, and Radom Museum, Radom, Poland.
Since the 1970’s he has exhibited extensively in important national and international exhibitions such as the “Sonviner Art/Markers 7″, a collateral event of the 53 Venice Biennale, Scalamata Gallery. Venice, Italy.
and the “Art Show” , Park Avenue Armory, NY.
Since 2000 he has exhibited yearly at the Kouros Gallery, NY City and Alpha Gallery, Boston, MA.
In his article, “A Critical History of American Art”, Donald Kuspet made reference to Mr. Ksiazek’s paintings as the most prominent important abstract painter working today.
