Historic North Hall Arts Festival 2022

Arts are alive in 2022. LIVE MUSIC is back AGAIN and now SPOKEN WORD is too! The North Hall Association is delighted to present its Historic North Hall Arts Festival 2022 with SEVEN one hour LIVE performances on Sunday afternoons in late JULY, AUGUST and SEPTEMBER with three performances on the North Hall Stage and  four performances on the Huntington Town Common.  After two years of closed doors at North Hall we are pleased  that our festival opens with a spoken word presentation of “Frances Perkins: A Woman’s Work” on the North Hall Stage followed by music on the stage and on the town Common.

At this time  for indoor performances in North Hall FACE MASKS MUST BE WORN by all. If you forget  to bring your mask we have them available.

We  wish to make the North Hall a safe place  for all of us to enjoy live performances indoors in the North Hall Auditorium. We hope all of our patrons are COVID Vaccinated but we will NOT be asking for proof.

Jarice Hanson portrays Ms Perkins of Massachusetts, the First Woman Secretary of Labor who worked to create Social Security.

Old Country Road, dedicated to keeping the sound of “true” or vintage country music alive, features songs from the 1950s and 60s. The group, says member Ron Jackson, “takes folks back to the golden years of country music, when country music was country music. The program will include “classic country” songs by Hank Williams, Webb Pierce, Carl Smith and a host of others with some bluegrass music mixed in.”(www.oldcountryroad.net)
