ALL IN THE TIMING” ”— staged play reading of one-act comedies by award-winning American playwright David Ives is directed by Glenda Donovan. Actors include a mix of professional, regional theater and student actors of the hilltown community.

“All In The Timing” won the Outer Critics Circle Playwriting Award, ran for two years Off-Broadway, and in the 1995-1996 season was the most performed play in the country after Shakespeare productions. The New York Times called the work “utterly delightful,” observing that human communication is “largely a comedy of errors.” The reading is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service Inc., New York.
Actors participating in the staged reading include Keith Boylan and Spencer Martin of Blandford; Brian Dimock, David Dimock, and Janet Dimock of Worthington; Neelie Goewey of Huntington; Glenda Donovan and Rodney Kleber of Northampton; Sasha Kopf of Boston; Rebecca Riley of Roslindale; Andrew Roberts of Marlborough; and Mitch Giannunzio of Stratford, Conn. and Huntington.

Director Glenda Donovan has been the drama teacher and advisor since 1990 at Gateway Regional High School in Huntington. She has produced over 15 main stage comedies, dramas, and musicals. Some of the readers for “All in the Timing” are former Gateway students who starred in productions she directed. Donovan has also participated extensively in community theater and summer stock for such producers as New Century Theater.
